PCFY A1 Condition Promise

At PCFY, we sell pre-owned devices (not refurbished). Our A1 Condition Promise means every device we list is carefully selected, tested, and verified to meet a high, “like-new” standard for both performance and overall condition—so you can buy pre-owned with confidence.

Note: Because products are pre-owned, extremely minor signs of prior use may exist. However, we do not list products as A1 unless they meet the checks and standards below.

1) What “A1 Condition” Means at PCFY

A1 Condition is our highest quality grade. An A1 product should feel premium, look clean, and work reliably under normal use.
We verify:

• Core functionality: the device powers on properly and passes key functional checks.
• Cosmetic standard: clean overall appearance with no major dents/cracks/structural damage.
• Ports & connectivity: essential ports and connectivity functions are tested (as applicable).
• Stability: The device is checked for abnormal heating, unexpected shutdowns, or unusual behavior during basic testing.

2) What We Check (Quality Checklist)

For Laptops / MacBooks (as applicable):

• Power on/off, charging, adapter detection
• Display panel function (backlight, dead pixels check as practical, brightness)
• Keyboard, trackpad, and basic input function
• Speaker, microphone, webcam (where applicable)
• Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth
• SSD/HDD health check (basic diagnostics), RAM detection
• Ports (USB/Type‑C/HDMI/Audio, etc., as available)
• Thermals/basic stress check (to detect abnormal heating/fan noise)

For Desktops / All‑in‑Ones (as applicable):

• Boot & stability tests
• CPU/RAM/storage detection and basic diagnostics
• Ports, Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth (if available), audio

For Monitors / Displays (as applicable):

• Display output test (brightness, lines/flicker check)
• Ports (HDMI/DP/VGA as available)
• Stand/hinge basic stability (if included)

The exact checklist can vary by product type and configuration, but we follow consistent A1 standards across categories.

3) Cosmetic Standards (What You Can Expect)

A1 products are expected to have a clean, premium look. We do not list items as A1 if they have major cosmetic damage.

Allowed in A1 (minor):

• Very light signs of prior use that are not clearly noticeable during normal viewing
• Minor hairline marks that do not affect appearance from a normal distance

Not allowed in A1:

• Cracks, major dents, bent chassis, broken hinges
• Deep scratches, heavy paint wear, major discoloration
• Display damage (cracks, bleeding, severe lines) or major panel defects
• Missing keys, non-functional trackpad/keyboard, or structural defects

4) Battery Promise (Honest & Clear)

Batteries are consumable components, and battery backup can vary with pre-owned usage.

PCFY Policy: Battery is covered only if defective (functional defect). Normal battery wear and reduced backup due to usage are not treated as a defect.

5) Software, Accounts & Device Locks

• We do not support devices that are iCloud/MDM/BIOS locked for resale.
• If a device requires a reset during service/returns, customers must ensure they have removed passwords/accounts and have backups.
• We are not responsible for data loss. Please back up your data regularly.

6) What’s Included in the Box?

What you receive (charger, adapter, cable, etc.) will be mentioned on the product page and/or invoice. Please check the listing carefully.

7) If Something Isn’t Right (7‑Day Issue Support)

If you face a verified functional issue after delivery, you can reach out within 7 days as per our Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy. We’ll help with troubleshooting and, where applicable, pickup/service/repair/replacement/refund based on verification and feasibility.

Tip: Please keep an unboxing video (sealed package → opening → first power-on). It helps resolve claims faster.
